16-week instructor lead clinic designed for those looking to increase their mileage and conquer the half marathon distance. Starts Wednesday, July 9th - Meets Wednesdays at 6:00 pm and Sundays at 8:00 am at Running Works.

Join us and experience the benefits of running in a supportive and motivating environment during this 16-week instructor-led training program. Incorporate hills, intervals and tempo runs into your training so you're well prepared to crush your goal and conquer the 21.1 Km distance.
This clinic will meet at Running Works every Wednesday at 6pm and Sunday at 8am. An optional meet up run will be available on Fridays at 6pm, also from Running Works.
Registrants should only start this program with a strong base behind them; currently running 2-3 times per week and can comfortably cover 8 KMs at a time. There are no time cutoffs so all paces are welcome.
Meetings will be at the Running Works every Wednesday at 6pm and Sunday at 8am for the duration of the clinic. "Homework" runs will be given out for days in between although participants will be more than welcome to meet at the Running Works.
Runners will be encouraged (but not obligated) to sign up for the Niagara Falls Half Marathon on Sunday, October 26th.
Instructor Lead
Learn from and follow experienced runners as they guide you throughout your Winter training by incorporating long runs, intervals and hill workouts. Mark Ventry and Tenille Kennedy will be leading the way for this clinic.
