Winter 2027 10 Mile Clinic

Starts: Wednesday, January 27th, 2027

Ends: Sunday, April 4th, 2027

Join us and experience the benefits of running in a supportive and motivating environment during this 10-week instructor-led training program. Learn to tackle the challenges of running through the Canadian Winter months with friends and work towards the goal of crushing the 10 mile distance.

Registrants should only start this program with a strong base behind them; currently running 2-3 times per week and can comfortably cover 8 KMs at a time. There are no time cutoffs so all paces are welcome.

Meetings will be at the Running Works every Wednesday at 6pm and Sunday at 8am for the duration of the clinic.

"Homework" runs will be given out for days in between although participants will be more than welcome to meet at the Running Works.

 Runners will be encouraged (but not obligated) to sign up for the Around the Bay 10-mile race on Sunday, April 4th, 2027.

Instructor Lead

Learn from and follow experienced runners as they guide you throughout your Winter training by incorporating long runs, intervals and hill workouts.

Guest Speakers

Learn some tips and tricks from industry professionals like nutritionists, physiotherapists and Olympic-hopefuls. Mark V. and Dan K. will be leading the way for this clinic.

Store Discounts

All registered members of this clinic are entitled to a 10% discount off any regularly priced merchandise in store. Runners will also receive a Running Works t-shirt.

All registered runners will be required to sign the participation waiver before joining their first session.
